Japanese Student Teachers Visit Marina View Preschool

45 Freshmen students from Ikuei Junior College in Gunma City, Japan visited our school to do a cultural exchange.

8 of them spent the day in our kindergarten classroom. :)

They taught us how to sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" in Japanese.  

They also showed us some Japanese dance moves.

 

 

Thanks for the neat Pikachu medals!

 

 

It was very nice of them to write our names in Japanese Calligraphy too.

Time to make some newspaper hats and swords!

They also showed us how to use some Japanese musical instruments.

It was fun to learn about Japanese culture.
